Deloitte DevSecOps Engineering Lead - Public Trust in Williamsville, New York

Work you'll do

  • Manage a team of world-class developers within our Cloud practice

  • Manage the design and delivery of application releases across multiple Deloitte and client environments

  • Configure automated CI/CD pipelines

  • Manage various Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), while interacting with Deloitte teammates and client and external stakeholders

  • As part of a cross-functional agile team, work with engineers to design, develop, and deploy innovative products for Public Sector clients

  • Collaborate with cloud and back-end engineers to develop software products that transform global missions

  • Provide hands-on contributions to solve engineering challenges in an Agile environment

  • Understand Deloitte's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as cutting-edge and best in the industry

Our Operations Transformation offering transforms our clients' core business operations. We advise, design, implement, and deploy solutions that are focused on "heart of the business" issues across client organizations. Using deep sector knowledge and program management skills, we work alongside our clients to implement industry leading practices and manage their most important projects.



  • 10+ years of experience with modern programming languages, web frameworks, modern front-end web programming techniques and frameworks, relational databases, automated configuration management, continuous integration/deployment, and continuous monitoring solutions

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps including experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience on at least one of the leading cloud platforms (such as Azure, Amazon AWS, Salesforce, Google) developing/implementing at least two service models of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS)

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $145,000 to $241,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
