Deloitte Employee Relations Manager in Westlake, Texas
Key Role Description:
*Please note this role would require you to work onsite at Deloitte University in Westlake, TX. This is not a virtual role.
The DU Talent Manager will work with the DU Talent Leader to provide strategic and develop and drive delivery of the Talent strategy across all professionals on the DU campus, both with DU staff and guests. The Talent Manager will serve as an advisor to PPDs on site, learning and client program teams, as well serves as an ambassador for DU.
It will be the DU Talent Manager's responsibility to provide strategic HR guidance and liaise with program owners and their respective staff; DU Operations; Meeting & Event Services (MES); contractors at DU; and business leaders at DU; for all Talent priorities at DU.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide Strategic insight and recommendations to DU Leadership - Partner with the DU Talent leader and other DU Leadership team members to shape the strategies that build a sense of community across stakeholder groups.
Recommend strategy for all talent related policies and procedures on campus including those during learning programs and those outside
Interface with PPMDs including deans, client leaders and staff to DU and set the tone and expectations of the campus
Advise senior leaders as well as individuals on matters pertaining to protocols, behavior, and social and recreational activities. Help to guide leaders in addressing sensitive issues
Partner closely with Hospitality leadership and DU Operations on key DU matters and contractor HR issues
Interface with a variety of DU support services such as Security, Health Center, DFit, Food Services and Event Coordinators in managing all employee relations matters at DU
Act as HR responder to urgent matters on campus, including allegations or claims of inappropriate conduct; initiate reports of cases that require further investigation and potential disciplinary action to ensure recommendations conform to DU and Deloitte policies and practices
Work closely with Talent Relations and the Office of the General Counsel to appropriately manage risk related to matters at DU
Partner with Talent Relations and the Office of the General Counsel to analyze trends and create proactive solutions and preventative action plans, provide a point of view to the DU Guest Experience team on trends, performance and outcomes to ensure we continue to deliver world-class learning at DU
Provide ideas for the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and regulations pertaining to activities and events at DU, especially those related to professional conduct and appropriate behavior
Serve as a mentor to professionals and inspire others to deliver results that exceed expectations
Measure and provide period reporting for DU Talent metrics as requested by firm leadership
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum 7+ years of related experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
Highly skilled in resolving confidential and sensitive matters
Consultative approach toward clients
Sound leadership skills
Track record of effective change leadership and learning agility
Proficient in entire Microsoft Office suite
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 95,070 - $175,080.
