Strategic Global Process Manager

The Global Finance Services organization (the GFS entity ) is a newly formed organization that has been established as part of a collaboration between Deloitte Global and several participating member firms (as of July 2018, those member firms are: US, UK, Canada, Australia). This effort is part of the SWIFT program, a transformation project that will implement a global ERP platform (SAP S4) and create Global Finance Services (GFS ) providing an opportunity to centralize and share Finance services across the member firm network.

The Strategic Global Process Manager supports and maintains the integrity of the global template functionality with focus on further globalization and standardization.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Work with member firms to understand their businesses, processes and enhancement requirements

  • Collaborates with business and process area representatives from participating member firms, DTTL, and GFS to identify and implement new initiatives

  • Support new member firm migrations

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the global template with the ability to socialize the design

  • Understand the integration of CTC with the other areas of the Global system (e.g. Time, Tax, Planning & Forecasting, PTP, RTR)

  • Protect the global design, update policies and revise process flows

  • Lead adoption of consistent and centralized global processes within CTC

  • Facilitate process governance activities, including reviewing change requests and serving as escalation point for items related to the key functionality required by engagement partners and managers

  • Coordinate the prioritization of change requests and defects

Relationship Management/Influence

  • Builds strong working relationships with the other GFS functions and member firm business representatives to drive the standardization and consistent use of the global template

  • Works across the different GFS teams and Member Firms to ensure cross functional alignment, shares best practices, and supports continuous improvement, leveraging ideas from the process operators as appropriate
