Work you'll do

Deloitte currently searching for cross-functional practitioners with Top Secret clearances to join an agile development team supporting an agencies performance management process. This role will involve:

• Hands on technical and functional work with PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Informatica, MicroStrategy, custom web applications, and AWS.

• Support a business intelligence and analytics team with requirements and functional & technical testing

• Technical skills desired include knowledge of business intelligence system, SQL, technical testing, and troubleshooting

• Opportunity to further develop technical skills

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Top Secret security clearance required

• Bachelor's degree required

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• 2+ years of professional experience

• 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and PL/SQL

• 2+ years of experience in ETL or Data Warehouse development

Preferred:

• Data modeling, BI tool/MicroStrategy, and IDQ experience are a plus but not required.

• Understanding of the needs for Data Science including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Analytics, etc. is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work with both technical and functional resources
