Making data-driven enterprise-grade decisions are vital to our clients' mission and commercial successes. Practitioners will work within our fast-paced, cross functional team to deliver a data integration and analytics product, MissionGraph. You should be a technical leader, passionate about technology, and love learning, implementing high quality, highly scalable global data solutions.
As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be taking a leadership role to plan, architect, develop, and maintain exciting new features for the MissionGraph platform. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges, from designing abstract data models that model anything and everything in the world, to digging into low-level performance details and streamlining processes. The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer with a focus on Back End technologies and Big Data. Key responsibilities will include:
Lead technical planning and architecture strategy for critical areas of the MissionGraph platform.
Act as a mentor and coach to a team of high-performing engineers across the stack.
Understand the business and work with Product Management to develop technical roadmaps.
Ensure MissionGraph s technical consistency across multiple customer implementations.
Establish and drive engineering best practices; including coding standards, Git flow, developer documentation, and build vs. buy decisions.
Research, adopt, and build new technology to evolve the platform.
Weigh in on architecture decisions to promote alignment between Product and Engineering.

MissionGraph is a data integration and analytics platform that enables its customers to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making.
Bachelor's degree in related field with 4 years of experience leading engineering teams.
Experience leading and mentoring an engineer team with a wide range of skills (Front End, Back End, APIs, QA, and DevOps).
Deep understanding of relational, NoSQL, and distributed computing theories and methods.
Experience with DevOps technologies including Jenkins and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with modern web development best practices regarding React, microservice architectures, and release management.
Experience in data profiling and data quality of large datasets.
Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
Familiarity with graph theory and entity resolution techniques and models. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
