The Team:

Deloitte supports organizations with requirements analysis, program to requirement integration assessments, capability gap assessments, threat assessment frameworks, analytical tool creation, database management, and PPB/POM support. On behalf of operational, research and development, or other organizations, Deloitte requires professionals who have the ability to work in close coordination with the Agency, Component, or Directorate level staffs to develop justification for requirements, refine requirements statements and support gap assessment of capability to requirement using the appropriate Agency frameworks, doctrine for these assessments. Deloitte requires professionals with experience briefing leadership on the current and future state of the portfolio including gaps, deficiencies, technical performance, and assessment of risk driving requirements development.

What You'll Do:

  • Interact and build relationships with various Agency and components (specific to DS&J - DoD Components) to gather information on status of strategic initiatives; compiling and analyzing data; authoring of technical papers; support to briefings and task development; and preparing reports for senior leadership.

  • Continue engagements with the Liaison Officers (LNOs) to commands/organizations with ownership or oversight of the requirement along specific requirements domains (e.g. Joint Capability Areas, named portfolios, or business/operational function domains

  • Identify, trace, define, verify and validate requirements.

  • Synthesize large amounts of data, identifying common threads and connections.

  • Use data analytics/data visualization to turn complex information for senior leader decision-making and policy development.

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting operational environment activities that impact the requirement..

  • Maintain a database to track technology or disruptive capabilities, initiatives, requirements, requirements analyses, and gaps identified and/or analyzed by the client organization.

  • Support the development of issue papers and provide response support to issue papers issued by external organizations, as required. Enhance operational utility of client organization portfolios through proactive engagement in operational events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
