What you'll do:
While this role will have elements of traditional media relations, the main focus will be supporting our team's use of data, measurement and analytics. The position requires a passion for and knowledge of these areas, combined with a strong sense for the media and the role of thought leadership.
The ideal candidate will be a professional with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of a matrixed organization and be able to:
Collaborate with senior leadership to drive external communication objectives and programs designed to strategically position Deloitte in the marketplace.
Serve as a trusted advisor and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership.
Help translate results into compelling reports for executives.
Drive external eminence for Deloitte through proactively pitching stories positioning the firm, senior leadership, and other industry leaders as valuable media sources on specific topics.
Employ strong project management skills and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, consistently delivering high quality results.
Manage and work with less experienced members of the team, to ensure successful results, and help them develop the skills necessary to reach the next level in their career.
Manage external vendor resources.

Communications professional with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
A passion for metrics and analytics, and experience building reporting models
A bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, English, public relations or journalism
Proven success in developing and executing external communications strategy and communications plans for a large business, preferably in professional services
Experience developing and executing executive positioning programs and working with senior leaders and the teams who support them
Ability to successfully engage and lead team members, providing effective guidance, coaching and capability development, maintaining close understanding of all team activities, ensuring high quality for all activities/deliverables, and implementing course corrections when needed
Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Knowledgeable in all aspects of Microsoft Office and ancillary programs.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425-$159,165.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
