Grounded in our Human Capital practice, we help clients to advance their People Analytics priorities and capabilities from strategy and roadmap definitionthrough toexecution, adoption, and sustainment.

We're looking for an experienced, senior level analytics manager with a passion for the people domain to join our People Analytics team.

Work you'll do

As a People Analytics Consulting Senior Manager, you will play a key leadership role as part of a growing multi-disciplinary consulting team. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and will help to develop and deliver best in class consultancy services in a dynamic environment. You will develop new business and lead teams using data and analytics methods and technologies to help clients interpret data and make informed business decisions around their people.

Your work will involve both business development and delivery, including:

  • Deliver complex People Analytics projects in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance of Human Capital and People Analytics practices, solutions, and enabling technology

  • Lead Human Capital and People Analytics pursuits and practice development initiatives

  • Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise, strengthening Deloitte's collective knowledge, and helping resolve our clients' challenges

  • Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice

  • Continually develop your knowledge of Human Capital and People Analytics topics, technology and solutions

  • Collaborate with executive level (C-Suite level) clients to understand their capacity and needs to ensure continued success and effective usage of People Analytics

  • Engage in continuing to develop our People Analytics practice strategy, building our team and advancing the services in the market

  • Build relationships across Deloitte Consulting, with partners and with experts in the Human Capital and Analytics space that help us to bring the best of Deloitte's and the marketplace's capabilities to our clients

As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. You will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways including:

  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk

  • Relationship Management of client executives and sponsors: Participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies

  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents, participate in public speaking events, get published in industry periodicals

  • People Development: Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in Human Capital Consulting, People Analytics Strategies & Solutions, or closely related experience in a client facing, consultative analytics leadership role

  • 12+ years of experience withvarious descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive methods utilizing Data Analytics Tools (Such as: Tableau, Workday Prism, SAP Analytics Cloud, Visier, One Model, Microsoft PowerBI or similar)

  • 5+ years of experience developing new business, developing stakeholder relationships, scoping, and crafting a proposed solution, and successfully delivering projects

  • 5+ years of experience leading programs/projects and project teams including mentoring and coaching others across geographies, both national and international

  • Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business (MBA) or other relevant advanced degree

  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences

  • Consulting firm experience highly preferred

  • Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects

  • Demonstrated experience driving both the sales cycle by taking the lead in framing out client opportunities and leading the pursuit team to create the proposal content for client discussions

  • Demonstrated experience with management and delivery of multiple strategic engagements for large global organizations

  • Strong project management and technical skills including experience leading projects through the end-to-end lifecycle

  • Strong familiarity with People Analytics data and technology architecture from data source to ingestion, transformation, and visualization

  • In-depth knowledge of the HR Domain areas such as recruiting, attrition, DE&I, compensation & benefits, performance, learning & development

  • Understanding of and direct experience leveraging advanced analytics techniques, data extraction and transformation techniques (e.g., R, Python, SQL, etc.), and machine learning
