Internal Title: Senior Consultant National Tax Quality Assurance and Risk Management

Location: Washington, DC

As a senior in the National Tax Office of Confidentiality & Privacy (Tax OCP ) you will be part of the National Tax Quality Assurance and Risk Management (NTQA ) team supporting the establishment of firm policies and activities that provide a quality/risk management framework that guides Deloitte Tax professionals on matters involving confidentiality and privacy. The National Tax Quality Assurance and Risk Management team generally supports our client-facing teams in delivering quality service to their clients while mitigating risks.

This will be an Enabling Areas Talent Model role within Deloitte Tax LLP.

What you ll do

Serve as a broad-based quality and risk management resource for the Tax practice

oPerform and summarize research on various topics including privacy and regulatory issues

oUnderstand professional standards and the regulatory frameworks that apply to tax services

oUnderstand and lead the practice in executing Tax and Firm policies, procedures and guidelines

oServe as a consultation resource for both Tax s network of Quality Risk Managers and the Tax practice as a whole with respect to confidentiality and privacy matters

Support the Privacy Liaison for Tax with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

oHandling of privacy incident calls/investigations and follow-ups

oProviding regular updates to NTQA and Tax OCP leadership on Tax privacy incidents

Support the Confidentiality and Privacy Leader for Tax in developing and executing the strategy for Tax around handling and protecting Confidential Information (CI ), including but not limited to:

oDevelopment, deployment and monitoring of Confidential Information Management Plans (CIMP ) for Tax engagements

oAssisting with CI-related issues that arise when providing services to clients

oDeveloping communications and trainings to reinforce the Tax CI strategy

oLiaise with other stakeholder groups on the Firm s CI strategy

Qualifications

Required:

At least 4 years of experience in professional services

Bachelor s degree or equivalent

Ability to self-direct projects and collaborate with team members

Ability to confidently communicate with all levels of professionals

Ability to manage multiple priorities under a deadline

Ability to analyze materials to spot potential risk issues

Ability to manage content in SharePoint

Outstanding project management and communication skills

Outstanding professional judgment with regard to sensitive or confidential matters

Preferred:

Possess a risk management mindset

Strong work ethic and organizational skills
