Deloitte Correspondence Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Work you ll do

As a Project Delivery Analyst in the Human Capital group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices

  • Lead and support tasks and portions of the project scope on engagements related but not limited to HR Service Delivery, Learning & Development, Communications, Change Management, and Compensation and Reward programs

  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

  • Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment

  • Independently perform tasks with some guidance to execute a portion of the project scope

  • Responsible for coordinating agency responses to various types of correspondence originating from external entities, including the White House, Congress, various government agencies, and the general public

  • Correspondence Analysts are responsible for reviewing and analyzing incoming correspondence to determine an overall strategy for coordinating an agency response.

  • Correspondence Analysts also route correspondence to appropriate stakeholders for review, comment, and approval; compile multiple responses and inputs; compare responses to past information for consistency of facts and presentation; review agency responses for format, style, grammar, punctuation, and style using established guidelines; coordinate responses for approval and signature from requisite federal/government agency leadership; and perform quality assurance to ensure complete responsiveness to incoming questions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically has 3 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

  • Ability to work independently under general guidance

  • Experience working in teams and in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship building and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

  • Experience with executive correspondence

  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong copy editing and time management skills

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Bachelor s Degree
