Working from within Deloitte s Green Dot Agency, the PublicRelations manager for Audit will helpdeliver innovative external communications strategies that buildand protect the firm s brand and reputation, help position the firm as theundisputed leader of the audit profession, ensure consistent messaging aroundaudit quality and innovation, and position audit professionals as luminarieswhose commentary enhances the Deloitte brand.

The successful candidate is a team player, creativethinker, and proactive practitioner who has an execution-oriented mindset andcan work at both strategic and tactical levels to deliver high-valuecommunications results.

Whatyou will do:

Collaboratewith senior leadership to develop and drive external communications plans thatstrategically position Deloitte Audit in the marketplace, with academia andother external influential stakeholders.

Work withAudit Industry Marketing leads to assist with eminence-building strategies andtactics.

Source,develop, manage and complete various writing and editorial projects, includingpress releases, bylined articles, messaging and talking points

Driveexternal eminence for Deloitte by proactively pitching stories positioning Deloitteleaders as experts on specific topics.

Becomeaccepted as a trusted advisor and provide strategic communications counsel tosenior leadership.

Serve as a keymedia contact and actively work to enhance and cultivate relationships with themedia, particularly within top tier business press and leading tradepublications, and facilitate media interviews with leadership.

Engage andparticipate in client-facing activities (e.g. conference participation,sponsorships) to further strengthen Deloitte s brand in the marketplace.

Preparespokespeople and practice leaders for media interviews and speaking engagementsby creating detailed briefing books - including key messages and talking points- and providing refresher media training as appropriate, facilitating and coordinating more in-depth media training for spokespeoplewhen required.

Manageexternal PR agency resources.

Employ strong project management skills and juggle multipletasks simultaneously, consistently delivering high quality results.
