What you'll do:
As a member of Deloitte's Client & Market Growth Marketing Excellence communications team, you will focus primarily on the Finance & Administration (FA) channel; its Talent priorities and the teams that drive Deloitte's workplace experience infrastructure. You will be expected to:
Work collaboratively with stakeholders in FA to provide insight, writing support, and project management to FA communications initiatives and activities across multiple channels.
Build strong relationships with leaders while advising and guiding them on strategic communication approaches for the FA audience and Deloitte firmwide.
Plan and execute meaningful cross-FA virtual internal events and messaging to engage and motivate teams, share important information, and promote a sense of community across disparate audiences.
Simplify and translate complex information into user-friendly stories, guidance, and messaging to facilitate engagement and drive behaviors.
Collaborate as a part of the FA communications team, including brainstorming, trouble shooting, and supporting each other to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Manage multi-faceted projects, including coordinating and managing several projects simultaneously.
Develop and maintain an FA comms project tracking and management system, including aligning with other firmwide comms programs, tracking metrics, and providing reporting as needed.
Manage distribution of messages to targeted audiences and help maintain and update intranet pages critical to FA teams and audiences.
Professional with demonstrated communications and project management skills with a minimum of 10+ years relevant experience
A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism) is required
Proven success in contributing to an organization's success through effective communications and project management, preferably including developing and executing internal communications strategy and communications plans for a large organization
Excellent writing, editing, and copy-editing skills; previous writing/editing experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism fields preferred
Strong executive presence with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide rationale, and advise leaders and their teams on communications
Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders
Commitment to maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information
Experience with PoliteMail or other employee engagement measurement tools preferred
Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
