Deloitte Data Architect in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Plan, design, manage & analyze data management solutions to meet strategic data management solutions and Informatica environments to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, scalability, control, and security requirements. Requires demonstrable knowledge in areas of data management such as data cataloging and classification technologies, data governance, test data management, ETL technologies and data lineage, as well as experience with Informatica platform solutions.

Work you'll do

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of growing data operations and enterprise controls team that works on new and existing high-end data management platforms within Deloitte. You will be responsible for architecture and performance of DataOps, Master Data & Enterprise Controls solutions

Informatica solutions to support organizational maturing of data management and data governance capabilities in a complex hybrid, multi-cloud environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Technical ability and communication skills to understand and work directly with the Informatica vendor to influence overall vendor roadmap. Work with internal teams to build out and maintain internal platform roadmaps and to plan and lead platform upgrades.

  • Understand vendor cloud roadmap strategy and develop our cloud roadmap strategy for internal platforms.

  • Ability to clearly communicate and update leadership on on-going challenges and platform initiatives.

  • Highly collaborative and self-motivated, taking ownership of deliverables and responsibilities.

  • Support and coordinate the efforts of Subject Matter Experts, Server Teams, Development, Quality Assurance, Usability, Training, and other internal resources for the successful implementation of system enhancements and fixes.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams in an agile environment; align and influence stakeholders and resources to deliver data solutions to market.

  • Understand customer usage patterns and build relationships with key influencers in the internal platform user community. Monitor and measure customer usage.

  • Responsible for platform monitoring and notification of issues. Monitor and measure platform up-time.

  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution when needed.

  • Work with other team members to provide 24/7 support for Production issues/outages.

  • Alert appropriate colleagues of unplanned platform issues/outages.

  • Create and maintain business continuity plans and lead execution of required annual business continuity tests.

  • Create and maintain platform architecture and technical documentation.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems or MCA or equivalent degree.

  • 5 to 8 years of Enterprise Data Architecture, data platforms, data strategy consulting or equivalent data management experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in Informatica platforms.

  • Advanced knowledge of Informatica data management products is desirable.

  • Experience with Informatica platform management.

  • Certification on one or more Informatica platforms is a plus.

  • Experience with Global IDs platform is a plus.

  • Experience with Delphix platform is a plus.

  • Some experience with Informatica competitor products is desirable.

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure Platforms such as MSFT Azure, AWS and/or GCP.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in non-technical terms.

  • Experience in Technical Architecture and Technical delivery using Agile Methodologies.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in delivery of new products or services.

  • Strong people leadership skills, including developing others.

  • Strong systems and application delivery ability.

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

  • Travel up to 5% is required (While 5% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
