Work you'll do
As part of the Technology Business Management Team our responsibilities include:
Understand the IT financial drivers and make recommendations to leaders on how to develop and then manage their budget and forecast
Identify areas of potential efficiencies in technology spend so the firm can increase new investments in support of our technology driven future
Identify ways to ensure consistency, efficiency and transparency in the financial and operational metrics that are used to understand the value that technology brings to the business
Support projects and efforts of others that result in the improvement of our IT Financial Management maturity level in order to increase the value and depth of information available for IT leadership decisions
Coordinate with businesses and ensure consistent application of the Technology Finance structure across the firm

The Technology Management Office is the engine of the ITS organization, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and fiscally-sound technology operation. This multi-disciplinary team runs IT as a business by transforming IT finance, reporting project portfolio metrics, quality, deployment, delivery, and adoption, and building the IT workforce of the future.
Technology Business Management
The Technology Business Management team is a high performing and highly engaged team that believes great IT leaders also need to be great business leaders. We have a passion for both managing the financial health of ITS, but also improving the business acumen across ITS. We have a "best in class" team that has reached a high level of maturity in IT Financial Management.
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience
High level of accounting and financial process skills
Advanced skills in process management, strategic thinking and leadership and complex problem solving
Maintains a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and other financial reporting tools
Experience with designing/leading change management efforts
Experience with IT Financial management methodologies and disciplines
Expert communication skills (written & verbal)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$195,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
