Senior SharePoint Software Engineer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be responsible for SharePoint development but will also serve as a technical lead / advisor to junior software engineers.

• Application maintenance and support services - activities associated with responding to incidents, repairing defects, and analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining minor functional and/or technical enhancements, and/or initiating and applying refactoring to applications in production to improve the performance and/or stability of an application.

• Application operations services - activities required to perform application monitoring and operational service activities as formalized in runbooks, inclusive job scheduling and execution, backup and restore of the in-scope applications.

• Provide support for SharePoint Administration which includes upgrades, patches and deploying; as well as troubleshooting & resolving production issues. Develop and maintain SharePoint sites for various offices and develop SharePoint applications for various offices.

• Consult clients and consulting teams on most relevant tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements

• Understand the benefits of process methodologies in conjunction with specific software application tools to enhance client environment

• Plan, manage, and lead projects teams to deliver solutions in accordance to service level agreements

• Manage, organize, and maintain goals established for project deliverables

• Demonstrate accountability to successfully realize client goals

Qualifications Required

• Bachelors in Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent

• 5+ years of software development experience.

• 2+ years of SharePoint development experience

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification (required)

• Understanding of how SharePoint data is structured and how information flows within SharePoint

• Comprehensive experience with SharePoint configuration through the web UI

• Experience in the implementation of SharePoint collaboration tools (forums/issue lists, document/form libraries, etc.) and the ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft solutions

• Experience with .NET development

• Experience with SQL server databases

• Experience working in Agile environment

• Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do, the clients you serve and industries/sectors you serve.

• Must live near, or relocate to, the Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ; or Mechanicsburg, PA areas

• Must be in your designated office location 10%-30% of each work week

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Requirements

• Experience implementing software using the agile methodology

• Experience mentoring / advising / teaching junior software developers

• Experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, SharePoint Online and Microsoft SharePoint Design

• Active Security Clearance
