Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers and clients (a mix of clinicians, computer scientists, data architects, and life science SMEs)

  • May wear multiple hats: architecture design and development, code reviews, mainframe deployment and customization, responsible for the system quality of the solution being delivered to the business

  • Responsible for hitting the Quality-of-Service business and IT requirements while at the same time representing the optimum way to deploy the architecture

  • Provide solution architecture, system design, and interface design specification documents to project team

The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience

  • 8-10 years of development experience with Java

  • Experience with Full Stack development, from DevOps, Database Administration, Non-Relational Data Stores, Java Service development and minimalist UI development

  • API and SDK development experience required

  • Expert in Java and experience with design patterns (e.g. Flyweight)

  • Solution architecture and delivery

  • Experience evaluating applications, defining domains, tracing and mitigating dependencies, and creating possible solution architectures for teams to use to move to cloud environments

  • Experience leading and completing Analysis of Alternatives, creating the design of interactions and integrations, demonstrating integrations and solutions to the customer, and giving general advice for tooling selection

  • Travel up to 10% annually

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
