Job Title: QA Manager
Location: Tampa or Hermitage
Work with the team to define and execute on a vision around agile testing methodologies and ensure teams follow QA best practices to high quality deployments in suitable timeframes. Analyzing Requirements, Scripting, Preparing test data, Executing & Analyzing business processes and managing Quality Assurance team members with respect to quality using various Test and Defect Management tools and related suite of products.

As a QA Manager you will be actively collaborating across functional teams and with other groups involved in the project and supports life cycle to ensure the delivery of a quality product. Provide guidance on the quality impact due to the design decisions made during the product architecture and design phase.
Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Software Quality Assurance team.
Utilize existing processes, methods and ensure that the QA team is on track to drive and close issues / bugs while working closely alongside Software development teams.
End to end ownership and accountability on Functionality, Integration, System, Regression and maybe Unit Testing for the application assigned.
Implement continuous improvement activities including new tools and automation in coordination with QPE practice.
Utilize appropriate automation tools, write automation scripts, identify process enhancements wherever necessary to be able to continuously improve test effectiveness and productivity.
Responsible for ensuring team members plan, develop and coordinate testing activities including Test Plan creation, Test Case creation, debugging, execution and test analysis.
Responsible for coordinating test resources for strategic software applications.
Familiarize themselves and the team with the business functionality and technology used for assigned applications (under test).
Implement ITS QE testing tools, methodologies, and processes.
Responsible for working closely with on-shore team towards successful test phases.
Encourage collaborative efforts and coordinate with other Release Stream team areas.
Support and Test Weekly Updates and Production Releases as directed.
Responsible for addressing open issues facing the test team and taking appropriate actions to mitigate such issues.
Troubleshoot issues and help resolve defects in all environments in a timely fashion.
Ensure all component development and implementation satisfies business requirements and provide high quality of deliverables, ensuring all configuration items are developed & deployed.
Analysis of failures, issue identification and subsequent logging of defects.
Motivate and lead the team. Attract, recruit, and retain team members. Provide mentoring and career development and succession planning.
Lead/Guide/Support a team of 5 QA Analysts / Sr.Analysts.
