Manager, People Analytics & reporting (surveys)

Role description

People Analytics & Reporting collaborates across Talent and the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change. Our teams provide a holistic and client-centric approach that complements our wide range of analytical tools and methods to identify valuable workforce insights which, in turn, fuels the business.

The Survey Insights Team manages survey strategy, governance, design, administration, and analysis across Talent to maximize insight around the customer and employee voice.

We're looking for a Survey Manager to manage surveys, polls, and other employee sensing methods to capture the collective thoughts, feelings, concerns, and actions of our people.

Work you'll do

  • Manage the design, programming, and testing of surveys, polls, and other data collection methods

  • Improve, maintain, and manage rigorous quality control standards, processes, and documentation for survey programs across the Talent channel

  • Summarize and visualize data and generate insights from surveys

  • Manage data centralization and reporting efforts across the Survey Insights Team

  • Collaborate closely with other Survey Insights and People Analytics and Reporting team members on survey/voice efforts that span multiple teams

  • Consult and advise Talent stakeholders on proper design of employee voice efforts (e.g., surveys, focus groups, interviews, polls)

  • Support clients and troubleshoot/resolve issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, graduate degree in the Social Sciences (e.g., I/O psychology, Sociology) preferred

  • 7-10 years of experience in project management, reporting, analytics, visualization of survey/employee voice efforts

  • Ability to balance detail orientation (e.g., tracking nuanced client needs) with strategic and wholistic thought to understand underlying goals/needs

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad set of clients from across Deloitte's businesses, spanning multiple levels

  • Proficiency in quickly understanding new technologies, with the ability to train others on the use of technology platforms

  • Work well in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment within minimal oversight and an agile mindset

  • Analytical ability to delve into details while maintaining a broader business perspective

  • Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing multiple project priorities simultaneously while maintaining rigorous quality standards

  • Strong written and oral communication skills to convey complex topics concisely

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams)

  • Proficiency in statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred

  • Knowledge of the professional services industry is preferred
