Deloitte DigitalIdentity Senior Solution Delivery Lead

We are looking for an experienced DevOps(Development and Operations) engineer, who will lead the way for ourtransformation of our Digital Identity platform to a DevOps environment. Theideal engineer will bring innovative practices and a collaborative attitude tohelp drive our DevOps initiative on major cloud platforms, including AWS,Azure, and GCP. The engineer must have strong communication skills to work withour identity and cloud managed services teams to orchestrate solutions that canscale and drive operational efficiency. In this position, you will develop therepeatable DevSecOps platform to enable automated deployments and create assetsand accelerators that enable modernized deployment and inorganic growth.

Workyou ll do

  • Implement DevOpsinfrastructure projects

  • Implement productiongrade automation and optimization of infrastructure and common services toreduce the cost of deployments and change, while improving scalability andresilience to failure.

  • Drive by example theuplift of identity management deployments and security standards across allteams.

  • Train and coachengineers in infrastructure and automation technologies to disseminateknowledge and skills across both engineering and support teams.

  • Scoping, design, andautomate new services, capabilities, and proof of concepts.

  • Engage in strategicprojects ranging from site migrations, re-architectures, to the evaluation anddeployment of new technologies across the business.

  • Be an evangelist forchange by clearly communicating the vision and the path from current to futurestate, measuring progress and outcomes along the way.

  • Create new servicesto help IT/Ops/Dev teams with problem solving and infrastructure solutiondesigns.

  • Foster a culture oftrust and accountability.

  • Design and implementbuild, deployment, and configuration management

  • Build and testautomation tools for infrastructure provisioning

  • Handle codedeployments in all environments

  • Monitor metrics anddevelop ways to improve DevOps pipelines

  • Provide technicalguidance to implementation teams on development and operations

  • Brainstorm new ideasand ways to improve development delivery

  • Consult with peersfor feedback during testing stages

  • Build, maintain, andmonitor configuration standards

  • Maintain day-to-daymanagement and administration of projects.

  • Create and customizerepeatable CI and CD environments for deployment teams.

  • Document and designvarious processes; update existing processes

  • Improve infrastructuredevelopment and application development

  • Help define,document, evolve, and evangelize high engineering standards and best practicesacross multiple areas

  • Keep up to date onmodern technologies and trends and advocate for their inclusion within productswhen it makes sense

  • Adhere to practicesand procedures as established by the company

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security,Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or relevant fields.

  • Understanding ofsystem administration in hybrid, cloud environments, Unix and Windows, on AWS,Azure, and GCP

  • Extensive experienceworking within AWS and its managed products, EC2, EC2, RDS, etc.

  • Strong knowledge ofconfiguration management tools

  • Knowledge of toolslike Ansible, Puppet, and Jenkins/Concourse

  • Strong experienceworking with containers, Kubernetes/Docker

  • Familiarity withmodern architectural patterns, including microservices and cloud serverless /functions

  • Proficiency in scriptinglanguages including bash, Python, JavaScript

  • Familiarity withcloud database services, e.g., AWS RDS, DynamoDB, etc.

  • Full understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle best practices

  • Travel up to 15% (While 15% of travelis a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has beensuspended until further notice.

  • Must be legally authorizedto work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now orat any time in the future
