Deloitte Commercially Enabled Intelligence Analyst with TS/SCI Clearance in Tampa, Florida

Deloitte Governmentand Public Services (GPS) Advisory LLP advises clients on managing businesscontroversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatorycompliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasinga company to investigating potential fraud.

The Commercially Enabled Intelligence (CEI)group within Deloitte GPS Advisory Forensic consists of highly trained investigatorsand intelligence specialists with extensive experience in due diligence,litigation support, fraud and other investigations. Working with the memberfirms of DTT, we can gather background information and business intelligencevirtually anywhere in the world in a timely and cost-effective manner,including those jurisdictions where public records are sparse.

Businesses considering mergers, acquisitions,strategic relationships or investments need accurate information about entitiesand their executives and the potential risks that they may present. We providecorporations, financial services institutions and law firms with comprehensivereporting tailored to meet their specific requests and requirements, whilemaintaining a high degree of confidentiality and discretion. By performingeffective due diligence, companies may help avoid serious legal complications.On each assignment, our professionals uncover, analyze and report relevantinformation to help clients make informed decisions.

If fraud is suspected, companies oftenrequire in-depth background investigations to unravel the problem. Our teamperforms background investigations of parties suspected of wrongdoing, searchesfor conflicts of interest and undisclosed business affiliations, or looks intowhether parties are living beyond their means. We seek to uncover direct andcircumstantial evidence of fraud, as well as any prior financial, legal,regulatory or criminal problems, or links to organized crime. When appropriate,we apply link analysis software to visually demonstrate the relationshipsbetween subject individuals and entities, or the flow of misappropriated funds.

As part of our litigation support services,we assist clients by investigating opposing parties and their experts; help findfacts relevant to claims and defenses; and identify and locate witnesses.Information developed can expand the scope of the litigation as new criticalinformation is developed.

Work you ll do

  • Perform all-source and/or open source intelligence analysis and conduct classified research using criminal investigative tools and other client-owned databases in support of Federal Investigations and prosecutions.

  • Assist Federal clients by investigating opposing parties and their experts.

  • Find facts relevant to claims and defenses.

  • Identify and locate witnesses.


Required :

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this role

  • Experience performing due diligence investigations

  • Experience with all-source intelligence analysis and conducting classified research is required

  • Ability to create dynamic deliverables in many formats (Word, i2, PPT)

  • Ability to analyze and summarize documents and written materials in an organized report format

  • Demonstrated interest in business or legal issues and/or strong research background

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Open source intelligence

  • Legal research (PACER, Westlaw)

  • Commercial due diligence databases (Accurint, Lexis)

  • Visual and Link Analysis (i2, Tableau)

  • Social Media Analysis

  • Intellectual property research (WIPO, USPTO)
