Client Account Management – Manager

We’re looking for an autonomous self-starter with outstanding organizational and program management skills—a strategic thinker who’s also a natural collaborator. As a Client Account Manager (CAM) you’ll work with senior leaders, enabling account teams to deliver the best of Deloitte, strengthen relationships with our most important clients, and accelerate growth for the Firm. With a client-first mindset, you will align with Deloitte’s businesses to execute business priorities and expand our footprint, help develop and deliver holistic account strategies to address client issues, bring insights and leading practices to accounts, and drive operational efficiencies—keeping client service leaders and professionals focused on our clients and helping our teams win work.

How You’ll Operate

CAMs translate account strategy into reality, navigating the firm and leading core account operations to accelerate profitable growth and bring the best of Deloitte. You will flex the role you play as you deliver against account priorities, serving as:

  • Catalyst to spur the realization of our client’s vision and goals, accelerating growth objectives

  • Strategist to engage with account and Deloitte leadership to shape and implement strategies vital to maximizing successful client performance

  • Steward to protect and build our brand with our clients, while seeking opportunities to reduce risks for our clients and the Deloitte, and

  • Operator to deliver effective and efficient account management to optimize performance and client results.

Work You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will be based on the specific client relationship objectives and priorities of your account leadership team. You will deliver across the “Account Excellence Model”, a holistic framework for managing world-class accounts, which includes:

  • Client: Client relationship strategy and implementation; client experiences, marketing and eminence; pursuits

  • Strategic: Account strategy and planning (strategy, operating model, and strategic initiatives)

  • Leadership: Leadership team connectivity and alignment, leadership development

  • Quality and Risk: Confidential Information management, compliance, and legal / contracting

  • People: Talent, teambuilding, team management and engagement, and

  • Financial: Financial management and reporting.

As a part of Client and Market Growth, the CAM program is comprised of professionals who provide our most important client accounts with streamlined, cross-functional support. CAMs, like other Deloitte practitioners, are industry focused. This opportunity is to join the Life Sciences & Health Care team, serving LSHC clients.
