Work you'll do/Responsibilities
The AMS SAP Payroll Support Lead will complement the client's payroll operations team in providing ongoing functional and technical support. Responsibilities will include:
Leading, managing, and resolving incidents and break/fix as reported to the AMS payroll support team
Analyzing SAP payroll related incidents and working with other functional and technical team members to propose solutions
Resolve incidents by performing SAP configuration and developing solutions as needed and perform unit and integration testing
Analyzing, developing, and deploying SAP Payroll service requests (changes and enhancements) as reported to the AMS payroll support team to optimize and enhance the client's SAP payroll
Managing and keeping assigned cases within the case management system updated with current status information
Reviewing and planning for SAP Notes and HR Service Packs to be applied to the client's environment
Participating in Year End payroll planning, including performing change impact analysis, assisting with W2 processing, and required payroll adjustments
Applying and delivering Year End configuration and technical updates to SAP Payroll

Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience configuring and implementing SAP Payroll solution
Strong SAP payroll functional knowledge and Payroll to GL integration experience
Experience in updating functional specifications to support minor SAP payroll development changes
Tax Reporter experience preferred
