The Team
The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients' needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.
Work you'll do/Responsibilities
The SAP Functional expert will document, design, configure, perform unit, integration and regression testing, coordinate user acceptance testing and implement SAP application changes. The functional expert is required to deliver innovative, high quality solutions to business consumers preferably through configuration rather than custom development. The SAP Functional expert shall have strong test planning, test execution and systems integration experience. This person will adhere to CLIENT operations standards and methodologies. This position will work as part of an SAP Agile cross functional team.
Demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management
Partner with functional teams to review consumer requirements and produce functional design specifications
Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
Document, configure, unit test, integration test, coordinate user acceptance testing and implement application changes through the lifecycle
Proactively provide work status
Ensure required testing is performed and documented
Obtain required approvals in the application change control process
Ensure that documentation is properly maintained throughout the change control process
Support application upgrades
Provide root cause analysis documentation as required for unplanned system outages
Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled Agile framework (SAFe) methodology; SAFe 5.0 certification preferred
Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Power Point
Proficiency with Jira toolset
Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager release management tool set (ChaRM)
Well organized and ability to perform multiple tasks against schedule in a 100% remote teaming environment. Requires working in a t-paced team environment and close collaboration with functional and technical teammates
Available to support off-shift system support, including nights and weekends
Working knowledge of ITIL
Working knowledge of the OSS process
Working knowledge of SAP DIMP
Working knowledge of test-driven development (TDD)
