You will be key member of the leadership team for ConvergePROSPERITY Growth Engines team as a Product Engineering Manager. ConvergePROSPERITY is hybrid business that is committed to partnering with our clients to enable financial security and prosperity for all. The Growth Engines team builds and manages solutions to improve customer relationships, enable accelerated acquisition, and improved customer stickiness.
You will help lead a team focused on developing cutting-edge quantitative solutions that address our client's most challenging problems in the financial services industry. You will not only provide advanced technical leadership, guiding research and applications of quantitative methods, but will also provide direct supervision, mentorship, support, guidance, and oversight for the team. This is an exciting, hands on role that will stretch your knowledge and curiosity, offering the opportunity to deepen your skills, and solve novel problems.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field from a fully-accredited college or university or equivalent experience
5-8 years programming experience
Experience implementing and supporting on-premise software applications
Experience with automation and scripting
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Java
Proficiency in developing SAS code
Extensive knowledge in designing platform architecture
Understanding of relational databases and ORMs
Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture
Banking, FinTech, or direct financial services operations experience is a plus
Experience delivering in scrum, agile, and other modern development methodologies
Experience profiling and troubleshooting Python code
