Our Financial Technology practice develops and licenses a growing family of proprietary software products (see http://www.deloitte.com/ft) to assist financial institutions with a number of complex topics, such as accounting for credit deteriorated assets and the administration of investments in leveraged loans.

Work you'll do:
Collaborate with product team members to fully understand business requirements
Monitor the progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner.
Contribute to the delivery, implementation, and improvement of all applicable processes and
Analyze and implement user requirements/business needs as new and/or enhanced product functionality
Design, code, test, and document software code
Work with more senior developers to adapt best practices and improve overall development skills
Assist in the packaging and delivery of finished software products to clients
Communicate with technical and business leaders on business requirements, system-related capabilities, programming progress, and enhancement status
Work with other teams to develop good understanding of overall business process and make sure final development effort meets real life requirements
BS in Finance or Computer Science
Experience developing web-based client/server applications
Strong understanding of OOP concepts, architecture, and design
Experience working with Microsoft's .NET Framework (C# language)
Working skills with Microsoft SQL Server (including programming stored procedures and functions in T- SQL)
Strong technical and organization skills
Hands-on software engineering development experience
Understanding of Agile/Sprint development methodologies
A successful candidate should be analytical and detail-oriented, as well as team-oriented, but also be able to work independently
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future.
Experience with server-side technologies
Knowledge of RESTful API services
Experience with microservice based architectures
Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps (previously VSTS)
Experience in Cloud Deployment (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
Understanding of containers (Kubernetes)
