Manager - Hybrid Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Finance & Operations is looking for ahand s on Manager to support the Firm s Hybrid FP&A efforts.The Hybrid business model (solutions that combine Deloitte s market leading professional services with IP-based products (e.g., data, analytics, or software) to create more value for the customer than either would separately)is projected to generate significant growth over the next 3-5 years, driving the increased need for operational and financial support across the Hybrid businesses.
The HybridFP&A team is currently designed to be a small impactful group that will supplement the Hybrid Finance COE s (HFCOE) transactional support team, the respective Finance Business Partners as well as Deloitte New-venture Accelerator s Planning and Performance team. As such, this role needs to be filled by someone who (i) has deep Deloitte Finance experience, (ii) who has / has the willingness to gain a full understanding the Hybrid business model, and then (iii), working collaboratively across the various groups, provide the appropriate financial analysis to senior Finance and business leadership.
What You ll Do
Based on a deep understanding of the various Hybrid business models, strategies, and financial results, you will provide actionable financial insights and reports to the respective businesses and Deloitte Finance
Working closely with HFCOE team to fully understand the periodic operating results and then, in conjunction with the respective Business Leaders, you will ensure that the operating performance is appropriately explained
Identify appropriate KPIs/metrics and benchmarks to be monitored, review the resulting analysis and generate actionable insights to either support exceptional performance or whatrequires leadership's attention. Also,need to identify data trends to support and drive business decisions
Draft and implement a customized annual planning process for respective Hybrid businesses, collaborating with Finance and other Hybrid stakeholders.Be available for planning advice and review final drafts prior to submission to the respective businesses Finance group.
Medium to longer term, will need to support Hybrid business leaders on key commercialization efforts (e.g. new product development plans, pricing reviews, financial analysis in support of go to market strategy and other processes including, but not limited to, sales delivery models, sales compensation models and sales forecasting).
Streamline and enhance reporting and analytics processes to drive efficiency and improve the quality of meaningful insights across the Hybrid businesses.
Work in a matrixed environment as an influencer or advisorwith business leads/partners to establish action plans that achieve the necessary financial outputs
Critical role in developing talent, especially as it relates to FP&A competencies
Support continuous business transformation efforts/be willing to challenge the status quo, including educating key stakeholders and driving the transformation of processes and systems, all in support of improving the Hybrid model
