Sustainability, Climate & Equity - Senior Product Manager
Deloitte's SC&E Strategic Growth Offering team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to craft Deloitte's SC&E product strategy with a focus on sustainability and decarbonization. This person will manage and coach our high-performing product development team, bring a POV on opportunities for sustainability product innovation, as well as current product enhancements. In collaboration with leaders across our SGO practice, the Senior Product Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of the SC&E product strategy.
Work you'll do
The Senior Product Manager will collaborate and align with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical product requirements, and work with engineering to build and deliver world-class SC&E products. The Senior Product Manager will be a product champion and should be a team leader with a consistent record of accomplishment for aligning and ensuring end-to-end organization readiness. This leader will drive the product management process end-to-end, supporting the design of new and enhanced products in detail, work with engineering on comprehensive specification and implementation, working with the product marketing team on launch and customer adoption, managing early customer programs, and working with engineering teams on user interface, architecture, and integration with other products in the portfolio. In addition, this leader will help define the long-term product strategy/vision and roadmap.
Scope out initial ideas and create mock ups; create prototypes with internal development center.
Define and prioritize key target segments, understanding market needs and working with customer groups to refine product strategy.
Initiate comprehensive assessments of relevant industry trends and business requirements in order to help successfully develop product roadmap and launch new products.
Engage with customers to understand the marketplace and competitor platforms, including technology, market share, advertising, and competitive SWOT analysis.
Develop product positioning, competitive analysis and messaging platforms to guide creative marketing & PR campaigns.
Work with internal engineering team/product development team on product build.
Monitor, analyze and report on customer/decision-maker/end-user feedback and manage success and evolution of tools in the marketplace.
Provide timely reporting of alpha/beta programs, product launches/extensions, and ongoing sales, revenue and profitability performance against defined business targets.
Ensure alignment with the overall business strategy and direction from the executive team.
Participate in the agile product development lifecycle as a product owner, attending stand-up and sprint planning to represent the product priorities, managing product backlogs, and defining user stories.
Execute full range of lifecycle management, from enhancements to new development.
Define KPIs and analyze metrics to inform the success of product.

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
10+ years of demonstrated success in fast-paced product management role relevant to the ESG space
Proven record of accomplishment of launching SaaS or Analytics products, managing product releases and executing winning launches with a small team
Experience with early stage products and new product development from ideation specification
Proven ability to successfully collaborate with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally
Experience working closely with engineering organization to define applications and tools and manage them through the entire product life cycle
Proven strategic thinking and business skills, with ability to understand key drivers that contribute to business success
Experience with managing and/or building data and analytics products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field
Specialization in ESG-relevant product management, or related field
Highly effective presentation development and delivery skills to internal and external audiences
Experience with product development and management in the energy, transportation, or food sectors / systems
Experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders in the government, nonprofit, and private sectors
Expertise at the intersection between policy development, climate science, and governmental decision-making processes
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks across local, state, and federal levels

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000-$230,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
