Work you'll do

The Product Strategy Lead will play a critical role in helping to champion the future market and growth of the Smart Factory product, by setting the strategic direction that influences the product roadmap. The right leader will have responsibility for collecting and providing market information, analysis and insights for the evolution of the product portfolio, including product pricing, ecosystem partnership vision. A demonstrated ability to collaborate and align with technical and non-technical stakeholders within the product team and across other Smart Factory teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and evolve product strategy to align with the overall business strategy that will inform the product roadmap and priorities for the development team

  • Drive long term ecosystem partnership vision and execution to expand product capabilities and features

  • Lead the pricing effort for product SKUs

  • Participate in 3 rd party vendor evaluation for potential fit into the long term product roadmap

  • Gather, analyze and report on product use and feedback, and manage expectations across a breadth of internal and external stakeholder channels

  • Understand competitor platforms, including technology, capabilities, market share, and competitive SWOT analysis

  • Collaborate with go-to-market team on marketing and sales launch plans and activities

  • Collaborate across teams and functions at Deloitte to ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution

    Required qualifications

  • 8-10 years of proven success in fast-paced analytics software business in a product strategy or product marketing role

  • 5+ years manufacturing industry experience, with deep knowledge in core manufacturing processes, plant floor equipment, and operations;

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent field. MBA a plus;

  • Proven track record of launching successful new products and developing go-to-market strategies and executing winning launches with a small team;

  • Proven ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;

  • High energy/high focus;

  • Ability to juggle many competing priorities/deadlines;

  • Strong technical background combined with solid business experience;

  • Highest personal integrity and team-orientation;

  • Highly collaborative and with the ability to lead by influence;

  • Highly self-motivated, passionate team-oriented individual; and

  • Willingness to travel (50%) periodically, for up to a week at a time during high travel weeks.

    Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity of the competitive landscape for products related to IIOT, manufacturing operations, and manufacturing analytics

  • Deep understanding of the product ecosystem, including experience or familiarity with the following:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, including: SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, Infor ERP

  • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions, including: SAP EAM, Infor EAM

  • OPC Server software, including Ignition and Kepware

  • Quality Management Solutions (QMS), such as: SAP QM, Oracle Quality Management Cloud, Siemens OpCenter Quality, or PTC Windchill

  • Advanced Planning Solutions (APS), such as: Blue Yonder Production Planning, Siemens APS, and O9

  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as Maintenance Connection, UpKeep, Fiix, Hippo CMMS, Asset Essentials, and eMaint

  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software such as Siemens SIMATIC, Honeywell Experion, or Aveva Plant SCADA

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $109,000 to $199,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
