Work you ll do
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Banking & Securities Practice.Candidates will have strong banking, capital markets, regulatory or operations industry experience and will demonstrate the capacity for constant development. Candidate should have the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, win the respect of clients and colleagues, and work both independently and as part of a team. Our Senior Consultants play a lead role in designated tasks of the project team - in gathering, organizing and analyzing data and making major contributions in assuring products/deliverables meet contract/work plan .

3 years of experience in a financial services organization (preferably a bank, capital markets organization or broker-dealer), regulatory agency, or consulting firm with a clear record of expertise, accomplishment, and impact
Demonstrate understanding of business processes, regulatory requirements, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards
Demonstrate strong project management skills, executive messaging, deliverable development, and success acclimating to a team delivery model
Experience building and nurturing positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
Strong knowledge of a wide range of business channels including: digital, branch, and contact center and products including:
o core banking (deposits, credit cards, lending),
o mutual funds
o alternative investments
o exchange traded funds
o structured products
Experience using, implementing, or supporting systems such as: reporting systems, order management, risk management, compliance (GRC), or trade surveillance
Full project life cycle skills from the business or technology side where responsibilities included: defining work flows, defining business, functional, and technical requirements documents, detailed project planning, data mapping and data migration, defining user test criteria and data, testing, status monitoring, problem tracking and resolution
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics or related field
Understanding of risk (compliance / operational / legal / enterprise / strategic, etc.) management as related to banks, capital markets and broker dealer related financial institutions
Strong experience with the contents and implementation of specific regulatory initiatives such as: Dodd-Frank (including areas such as stress testing, Derivatives Reform, the Volcker Rule, and Living Wills), general Consumer Compliance, Conduct risk and regulatory structure and organizations including the FRB, the CFPB, the OCC, the CFTC, FINRA, and the SEC
Knowledge of the structure and roles within the risk function at a bank, capital markets organization or broker-dealer, including execution and oversight processes, risk assessment, reporting, controls, testing, and data analytics
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Willingness to travel up to 75% (Monday through Thursday working from the client site).
MBA, CRCM, PMP, or CFA
