The DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Development Lead Specialist position sits on the Career Growth & Development (CG&D) team, one of a small number of learning teams inside L&D. CG&D is uniquely focused on growing cross-business industry, professional, and leadership capabilities, to help our practitioners build the non-technical skills needed to succeed in their current role and prepare for the next one.

Work you’ll do

Primarily, the Lead Learning and Development Specialist for DEI is responsible for assisting with the research, design, development, pilot and delivery of assigned efforts. You will drive completion within budget and timeline, leading the coordination of the CTS Delivery / CRM team to execute deliveries and track data effectively. Specialists must be comfortable aligning communications, people, processes, resources and systems to ensure effective implementation and delivery of program solutions.

Our DEI Development team works almost exclusively in a virtual environment. As such, it is critical that you are able to allocate your time efficiently, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, manage virtual and in-person meetings effectively, and recognize and demonstrate engagement and support for your team by actively leading and participating on calls, raising questions and sharing your opinions appropriately. As a Lead Specialist on the broader Career Growth & Development team, you will contribute to cross-team initiatives as needed.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Plan, execute and operationalize development programs and processes

  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality

  • Assist in the creation and development of various learning programs and training experiences, to help Deloitte personnel develop the capabilities and knowledge needed to grow at Deloitte

  • Participate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs and peers

  • Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems
