Work you ll do

As a Project Delivery Sr. Analyst in the Strategy & Operations group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices

  • Support tasks and portions of the project scope on engagements related but not limited to Financial Operations, Supply Chain, and Project and Acquisition Management

  • Create and/or support project deliverables

  • Perform analysis and diagnose client issues while demonstrating an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

  • This highly visible client-facing role supports identifying strategic sourcing opportunities critical in fulfilling the acquisition and procurement mission of a federal agency. The candidate will work directly with GS-15 and SES level clients as one of the analytical work stream leads supporting the Acquisition Division leadership in their strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Some of the initiatives include supporting continuous process improvement projects, conducting the annual spend analysis, defining strategic supplier engagement strategies and other program management support tasks. Tasks will include (not limited to): heavily involved in strategic sourcing initiatives such as reverse auctions, long term contracting and automated contracting, responsible for conducting and presenting an annual Enterprise-wide spend analysis, reporting performance metrics such as obligations and procurement lead times, developing the Annual Operating Plan and the subsequent quarterly tracking reports, Ad hoc reporting and extensive data analysis using procurement data, providing program management support for high visibility briefings, utilizing data visualization tools to brief Acquisition Program metrics, providing program management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically has 3 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

  • Ability to work independently, under general guidance

  • Ability to lead project deliverables through to completion

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

  • Experience with acquisition strategy and strategic sourcing

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Bachelor s Degree

  • Strategic Sourcing or Sourcing and Procurement background

  • Prior engagement with GS-14/15 and SES level clients

  • Familiarity with procurement data

  • Strong Data analytics capabilities - Tableau, Excel, Access, Visio, Qlik

  • Presentation capabilities - Skilled in producing strong visuals in a PowerPoint

  • Skilled in extracting data from Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS-NG)
