TechOps Engineer

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Track vulnerabilities across multiple Linux and Windows systems (production and non-prod)

• Create and maintain vulnerability reports and track mitigation plan and status within ServiceNow

• Ensure security through access controls and firewalls

• Participate in an on-call rotation for meeting production SLAs

• Create Basic automation scripts

• Diagnose & troubleshoot incidents & OS related issues

• Participate in weekly OS patching & fix vulnerabilities

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience

• 3+ Years' experience in TechOps

• TechOps Engineer with experience in following day-to-day duties

• Experience monitoring systems (production and non-prod)

• Experience in Setting up / onboarding and offboarding user accounts

• Experience ensuring security through access controls and firewalls

• Experience with Windows and Linux patching

• Experience with the following: Cloud Identity & Access Management, Windows & Unix/Linux Systems administration, User Accounts, Nagios, Cloud infrastructure

• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,000 to $92,000.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cyber security background will be a plus

• VMware & AWS Certified
