What You'll Do
As a Deloitte Tax .Net Developer you will be responsible for design, development, debugging, testing, deploying and supporting custom applications and modules that meet business requirements. Candidate will demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of the client's business and tax systems, and for meeting client deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Participate in requirements analysis.
Collaborate with US, USI and Vendors' teams to produce software design and architecture.
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
Test and deploy applications and systems.
Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
Develop, support and maintain applications and technology solutions.
Provide production support during busy seasons.
Ensure that all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations - applications should meet requirements of scope, functionality, and time and adhere to all defined and agreed upon standards.
Become familiar with all development tools, testing tools, methodologies and processes as well as with the scrum methodology and processes.
Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.
Demonstrate a strong working understanding of the industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
Work on agile projects, participate in daily SCRUM calls and provide task updates.
During design and key development phases, might need some flexibility on shift timing to ensure appropriate overlap of the India and US teams and project deliveries.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar required.
3+ years' experience in software development with working knowledge in analysis, design and development of applications and/or systems using .NET and SQL.
2+ years' hands-on experience on C#, .NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET Web API
Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Experience or knowledge of Micro Services Architecture, .NET Core, Mongo DB (NOSQL DB), CICD (Build/Release configuration), Version/source control, Azure, Agile/Scrum, NPM, AngularJs.
Experience or knowledge of Entity Framework 6 or above, OOPS Concepts, Design Patterns, Azure, Version/source control (Git/VSTS), Agile/Scrum.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, ability to communicate clearly with USI counterparts.
One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations listed below based on role requirements and business approval:

Project Management Professional (PMP)
Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)
Professional Engineer
Technology Certification including, but not limited, to the below:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000 and $155,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
