Work you'll do

As a Project Delivery Manager in the Technology group you will:

  • Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the client's mission through the management and guidance of multiple work streams, teams, and clients

  • Be responsible for Release Planning, co-ordination and execution

  • Create and review project charters, project plans with resource allocations, scope definitions, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for each prioritized project Estimation, Planning, tracking day to day progress and reporting status

  • Set up quality gates to ensure defect free delivery

  • Unblock team by removing the impediments and by engaging in complex issues

  • Keep stakeholders engaged by reporting status, highlighting risks/issues and any deviation from plan

Qualifications

Required:

  • Typically has 8+ or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgement

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or government consulting experience

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $126000-210000
