Be ready to embrace continuous integration/deployment in delivery pipelines that perform automated quality checks, quickly deploy cloud infrastructure and applications, and provide operational metrics to development teams which enable fast iteration within our multi-tenant cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Our engineering infrastructure includes:
Virtualized cloud and on-premises deployments
Docker throughout development to production environments, currently managed by Rancher, but looking at new technologies like Kubernetes
Ruby on Rails at the application layer, but many projects use node, php or python
Both SQL and NoSQL databases (the right tool for the job)
Monitoring via Prometheus, InfluxDB, and grafana dashboards
Your responsibilities will include:
Optimizing our stacks for performance and fault tolerance
Working with on- and off-site teams to automate all facets of our product
Building out logging and monitoring systems to identify bottlenecks and assisting with debugging, analysis, and optimization
Designing and implementing security policies across the stacks
Enabling new capabilities within our projects to facilitate better, faster, stronger pipelines and stable, secure infrastructure.
Working with project and corporate IT teams to identify requirements, push through tickets, and handle requests for Firewall, DNS and SSO features
Experimenting with and recommending new technologies to accomplish any of the above goals

3 years' experience with automation/configuration management (Docker, Chef, Ansible, etc)
Experience with administering Linux servers (Ubuntu in particular), continuous integration tools (Travis CI, Jenkins, or similar), setting up logging and monitoring for web servers and related services
Experience with Declarative Jenkins Pipelines and assisting in the enablement of pipelines for new projects
Ability to design, test, and ultimately implement a disaster recovery plan
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in software engineering, computer science, or computer & information systems
Working understanding of Agile methodology
Experience with cloud services - AWS preferred, but other clouds translate well
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and security concepts
Experience with enterprise security deployments and working through firewall, DNS, and SSO requests
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with technical and business teams
Experience delivering CI pipelines for front end web development teams
Experience managing builds for iOS and Android apps, working with the nuances between Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store
