Deloitte & Touche LLP seeks a Advisory Senior Consultant in Seattle, WA.

Work You ll Do

Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement; assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects; use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services; construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls; identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability; understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches; develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards; utilize knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements; generate innovative ideas and participate in decision making with engagement management; build and nurture strong client relationships; assist managers with project planning, and estimating project effort and cost; mentor a team of consultants on cybersecurity client engagements; critique client deliverables developed by the consultants and perform quality assurance; identify opportunities and assisting in enhancing Deloitte's cyber security service offerings; report project status and present assessment results and project deliverables to clients; deliver trainings on cyber security solutions, procedures and standards developed for the client; and provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Risk Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Eighteen months of experience developing, implementing, and architecting security monitoring systems.

  • Experience must include eighteen months of:

  • Analyzing client s IT and security infrastructure using NIST and Cyber Security Framework to determine security monitoring requirements;

  • Designing and implementing deployment architecture for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, including Splunk and LogRythm;

  • Assessing client s Software Security Initiative (SSI) using BSIMM and OpenSAMM assessment frameworks, and providing recommendations on improving SSI maturity;

  • Deploying security protocols throughout software development process lifecycle;

  • Performing vulnerability management and security monitoring for software applications;

  • Integrating vulnerability scanning tools, including Fortify, Veracode, WebInspect, AppSpider, and Nessus, with tracking and orchestration solutions;

  • Designing and implementing security incident response automation architecture and workflows by integrating SIEM tools with ticketing and response orchestration tools including ServiceNow or JIRA;

  • Designing, developing, and deploying integrations for incident response orchestration tools utilizing Tanium, Cylance, and Microsoft Active Directory to automate response actions;

  • Developing remediation applications that can be deployed as response actions directly through SIEM tools; and

  • Assessing and applying post deployment automation security protocols with SIEM.

  • Position requires 80% travel.
