Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Commercial Excellence & Experience in San Jose, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Evaluate clients technology needs, develop customized software applications, and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for client engagements. Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, help to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participate in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Develop dashboard wireframes and design requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Develop and maintain project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Create test cases and perform functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Research user reported issues with software applications, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Track application defects using defect tracking tools; coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Perform assessments of existing information systems, and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Design sub-components of larger application systems; integrate the applications with each other and continuously optimize the system structure to improve stability and performance. Assist with thought leadership while working with business, engineering, and functional teams to understand the client s business requirements and to provide technical and functional assistance to help them resolve CRM business requirements. Configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM application component based on use cases and functional design document and engage in end to end implementation to design, build, and test. Storyboard demonstrations for Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects. Work on Microsoft Dynamics CRM customizations, Solution design, Security roles, business rules, and process flows. Develop custom workflows, solutions, scripts, dashboards, views, and reports in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience as a Senior Consultant, Functional Consultant or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Assisting with thought leadership while working with business, engineering, and functional teams to understand the client s business requirements and to provide technical and functional assistance to help them resolve CRM business requirements;

  • Acting as a client liaison for Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects;

  • Leading efforts on critical phases of the project from business and functional requirement gathering, analysis, solution design, and release planning to effort estimation;

  • Configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM application component based on use cases and functional design document and engage in end to end implementation to design, build, and test;

  • Storyboarding demonstrations for Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects;

  • Working on Microsoft Dynamics CRM customizations, Solution design, Security roles, business rules, and process flows;

  • Developing custom workflows, solutions, scripts, dashboards, views, and reports in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

  • 80% travel required.
