M&A IT advises and supports the client through the entirelifecycle while driving value in specific aspects of the lifecycle.

Senior Consultants inDeloitte s M&A offering portfolio serve as trusted advisors to theirclients in both the corporate and private equity space. They synthesize overall strategy by analyzinga wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meetspecific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complexfinancial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs.

M&A | Restructuring and CostTransformation

Our mandate is to enable our clients ability to grow, optimize, and fundamentally change the nature of theirbusiness and competitive position. We do this via M&A, divestiture, andrestructuring services from beginning to end.

Our Offering enables pre-deal andpost-deal integration, divestiture, and major restructuring/cost transformationactivities to achieve/exceed deal value, synergy targets, or strategic costtakeout objectives.

Qualifications

A candidate must meet the minimumexperience in one or more of the below:

Must have minimum of 5 years in M&A IT or M&A IT Service Delivery:

Guide clients on key concepts andstrategies for M&A engagements, including but not limited to stranded costanalyses, aggressive timelines, business continuity during transformation,synergy identification and capture, system cutovers).

-{PS..0}->Synthesize overall operations strategyby analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevanttools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case,pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting onoutputs.

Provide corporate and privateequity buyers with a broad continuum of advisory services to support mergers,acquisitions, carve-outs, investment and financing structures, dispositionalternatives and post-transaction activities.

-{PS..1}->Provide subject matter expertiseacross critical components of IT (e.g. infrastructure, applications, IToperations, IT finances and expenses, Active Directory, end-user computing,messaging, enterprise architecture, testing).

Advise on industry-leadingsolutions enabling complex M&A transactions (e.g. SaaS/IaaS,virtualization, public/private clouds, social media, data management and lossprevention).

-{PS..2}->Lead teams that design, architect,develop, release, operate, and maintain software and advanced analyticsproducts created from ideas generated within the Deloitte organization to helpclients proactively plan and implement post-merger integration activities aswell as manage complex carve out projects.

Assist clients thorough thecomplex transitions that come with transactions and transformations that arepart of that journey including: target identification and pre-deal duediligence, M&A roadmaps, strategies, and synergy targets, developing Day 1projects and plans and post Day 1 planning and execution.

-{PS..3}->Work collaboratively withinintegrated, cross-functional teams to deliver M&A engagements across all ofphases of the M&A lifecycle include due-diligence, pre-close, andpost-merger integration.

Perform business process analysis,mapping, and design for M&A projects focused on an IT work stream includingIT infrastructure separation, data center migration, applicationintegration/separation/rationalization, or IT synergies/cost reduction.

-{PS..4}->Participate in setting engagementobjectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinateactivities between workstreams and identify changes in scope.

Identify and record key deadlinesfor the workstream in the client engagement to ensure clear communication,organization, and coordination between multiple parties; construct a work plan aroundthem that will quickly and effectively achieve client goals whilst alsoallowing for reasonable work time and unexpected delays or pivots.

Additional Requirements:

-{PS..5}->5 years of relevant consultingand/or industry experience is required.

A Bachelor's degree is required;an advanced degree is preferred.

-{PS..6}->Experience planning andimplementing IT integration and separation projects as the result of M&Aactivity.

Strong oral and writtencommunication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint,MS Excel).

-{PS..7}->Strong problem solving andtroubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

The ability to travel up to 100%is required.
