We are looking for a Client Coordinator to play an integral role in supporting the success of the practice by providing a variety of project, administrative and operational services to this newly formed audit delivery model focused on a large portfolio of smaller audit engagements in the GTS EGC practice. The coordinator will work with multiple engagement teams throughout the year, and is a client facing role

It is critical the candidate have experience in both PowerPoint and Excel, as each of these platforms are used on a regular basis to illustrate, summarize, and synthesize information. The successful candidate will thrive in an active environment and act as a resource to a busy team. The candidate will coordinate, execute, and deliver work products on behalf of the team. The candidate will provide excellent customer service, possess a high degree of self-confidence and executive presence, and exercise discretion and diplomacy in all interactions. The candidate will have the ability to proactively anticipate and manage challenges, be a self-starter with strong abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize appropriately, work efficiently, and remain flexible to changes in schedule and work hours (including some flexibility to work overtime as required). There will be the opportunity to work directly with client management and client service teams of these exciting companies to deliver excellent client service.

The work you'll do

  • Work with client acceptance (CCRA and Engagement Letters)

  • Create, send, and summarize client planning surveys (PowerPoint)

  • Schedule, plan, and help manage client planning whiteboarding sessions

  • Schedule, plan, and help manage Board/AC planning meetings; track agenda items and monitor follow-up with team members

  • Work as primary point of contact to client, prioritizing requests and inquiries

  • Receive, summarize, and synthesize client business data

  • Analyze client data

  • Monitor and track execution of project using technology and communication protocols

  • Assist with development and execution of communication protocols

  • Compile content and create decks for stakeholders

  • Help drive and sustain community within the team during audit projects

  • Learn and use various technology platforms to support business needs

  • Spearhead the coordination of virtual and live meetings and events by handling logistics including securing meeting space, collaborating with team on agenda and content, offsite support, etc.

  • Assist teams with recurring projects utilizing internal technology to update/maintain client records, prepare reports, and complete trend analysis

  • Ability to work within multiple work streams to accomplish project tasks at any given time

  • Deliver exceptional project-based support; adapt methods and behaviors to effectively engage and accommodate client styles, preferences, and unique needs

  • Have a broad understanding of Deloitte's network of business support services in order to delegate work requests and partner with other national and local teams as appropriate to deliver work effectively

  • Accurately and proactively assess requirements for each project/request. Communicate effectively, addressing questions or issues promptly and professionally

  • Develop and share new innovative solutions which can be applied as best practices; demonstrate forward-thinking and creative ideas

  • Build positive and productive relationships across the practice

  • Provide Outlook calendar support for the project team, including creating, updating, and rescheduling meeting invitations; responsible for identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts

  • Conduct research as directed

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Deloitte's matrixed organization and brand standards in order to offer superior service and accurate guidance

  • On a regular basis, manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with a high level of discretion

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience

  • Demonstrated business acumen

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to learn and master a variety of internal custom business applications

  • Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling

  • Attentive listener and ability to use tact and diplomacy in all communications

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact at all levels, managing both up and down. Communicates with a positive, "can-do" attitude and professional demeanor

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
