What you ll do:

As a Strategic Marketing Planner (SMP) in Deloitte Services LP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US Firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of our organization in a variety of ways, including:

  • To serve as marketing and communications strategic advisor to business and key stakeholders of the audit practice

  • To bring together creative and technology skills, business insights, and industry best practices to develop innovative creative assets that engage our clients and marketplace

  • To manage overall portfolio of campaigns and activities to ensure proper prioritization and utilization of appropriate resources

  • To provide innovative approaches and deliver best practices

  • To liaise with internal communications, PR and internal agency colleagues to optimize engagement and opportunities to build brand and eminence throughout the organization

  • To collaborate across the organization with other businesses and marketing groups to design and deliver best-in-class multi-media campaigns

  • To plan and manage budgets

  • To develop metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for opportunity and improvement

  • To develop and support other team members, as appropriate

The team:

This SMP role will be supporting the Audit & Assurance practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP and will report to the Marketing Leader, Cross-Audit Services. SMPs serve as trusted marketing and communications advisors to key business leaders and stakeholders, and are part of the Marketing & Communications team at Deloitte. Deloitte s Marketing & Communications team combines the power of Deloitte s brand with the most inspired marketing techniques to produce business results for our clients. From events to social media to digital strategy and execution, we elevate the Deloitte brand and strategic positioning, delivering a cohesive, consistent experience. The team brings together creative and technology skills, business insights, and industry best practices to develop innovative creative assets that engage our clients. It also executes with agility and measurable performance through best-in-class solutions, centralization of key information and operations, and optimization of data, tools, people and process.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of the business and its strategies

  • Innovative thinker who can infuse innovation into processes, campaigns and business goals

  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities

  • Ability to make connections and build relationships in highly matrixed environment, with eye on collaboration and integration

  • Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communication skills; able to gain consensus through influence and pivot when warranted

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 12 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Communication, English or a related business field

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results

  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
