Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Operations, Technology Services Optimization in San Francisco, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You ll Do
Designing, implementing, and delivering strategies to increase the efficiency and value delivered by the enterprise IT function, including IT business management, enterprise architecture and platforms. Selecting the most relevant tools and technologies to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the software development lifecycle to substantially build the system functionalities. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Guiding enterprises through the adoption of Agile, Lean and DevOps concepts, including implications to people, process and tools. Reporting to and communicating with organizational leaders, articulating business outcomes of technology transformation. Leading or advising Agile, Lean and DevOps-enabled technology teams tasked with delivering software development projects. Performing or facilitating project planning, including gathering and prioritization of detailed requirements, release planning and forecasting. Configuring and administrating technology infrastructure and tools for usage by software development teams. Conducting software testing, from test case development and automation to test case execution. Recommending technology solutions based on specific client needs by conducting detailed comparisons of competing technology solutions.
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), MIS, CIS, or a related field.
Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.
Must have two years of experience with:
Guiding enterprises through the adoption of Agile, Lean and DevOps concepts, including implications to people, process and tools;
Reporting to and communicating with organizational leaders, articulating business outcomes of technology transformation;
Leading and/or advising Agile, Lean and DevOps-enabled technology teams tasked with delivering software development projects;

80% travel required.
