Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Enterprise Operations, SAP in San Francisco, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions. Provide strategic advice and high quality results for business process management through the full suite of SAP products. Assist with formulating systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions. Conduct workshops with clients on use case elaboration and user persona building. Draft documents that describe current state architecture and propose designs of future state architecture. Create conceptual and technical solution designs using object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Utilize expertise in SAP UI technologies to advise clients in system configuration, perform system conversions, develop reporting capabilities, implement dashboards and conduct user experience analysis. Build enterprise mobile strategies, IT portfolios and roadmaps for clients business growth. Integrate master data from Systems Applications Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning Central Component (ECC) to SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) through the Core Interface (CIF) and define the following specific master data for SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM): transportation lanes and means of transport, resources and shift variants, location and product master, and interchangeability. Design and configure demand planning system components, including capture of demand history from legacy systems, ECC and Business Intelligence (BI), statistical forecast calculations and forecast releases to Supply Network Planning (SNP). Set up modeling of master planning object structure (MPOS), planning areas, planning books, data views and macros for sales history, statistical forecast algorithms and demand plan adjustments. Configure rules based Available-to-Promise (ATP) for location and product substitution using interchangeability. Configure Demand Planning (DP) process chains and batch jobs with parallel processing. Conduct user training at client locations. Coordinate usability testing (UT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) with technical and business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), CIS, Computer Science, IT or a related field.

  • One year of experience as a Consultant or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have one year of experience with:

  • Integrating master data from SAP Enterprise Resource Planning Central Component (ECC) to SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) through Core Interface (CIF) and defining the following specific master data for SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM): transportation lanes and means of transport, resources and shift variants, location and product master, and interchangeability;

  • Designing and configuring demand planning system components, including capture of demand history from legacy systems, ECC and Business Intelligence (BI), statistical forecast calculations and forecast releases to Supply Network Planning (SNP);

  • Setting up modeling of master planning object structure (MPOS), planning areas, planning books, data views and macros for sales history, statistical forecast algorithms and demand plan adjustments;

  • Configuring rules based Available-to-Promise (ATP) for location and product substitution using interchangeability;

  • Configuring Demand Planning (DP) process chains and batch jobs with parallel processing;

  • Conducting user training at client locations;

  • Coordinating usability testing (UT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) with technical and business users.

  • 80% travel required.
