Deloitte Tax - Reporting Management - Analyst in San Diego, California


The Tax Transformation Office enables Tax client service delivery through end-to-end business process improvement across the full range of Tax market offerings, improving delivery efficiency and driving growth. The Reporting Management - Analyst role requires implementation of reports and deliverables to support leadership and the tax practice. Will conduct data analyses, assess reporting requests to understand the business objective, and interpret available data for to deliver the appropriate deliverable. Will design, develop and deliver reports using data, including Deloitte's proprietary Global Tax platform. Will provide input, document requirements and support reporting design and delivery. Additional project related activities include:

  • Identify, analyze and align current information across multiple platforms

  • Assess current pain points

  • Identify and help address anticipated stakeholder needs

  • Create clear and concise understandable deliverables

  • Track and report issues

  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor progress

The Team

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office is responsible for the definition of standard processes to support the delivery of Tax services, and the related development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery. The Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver value-added, and efficient Tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation consists of professionals with varying backgrounds ranging from Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals including QA and Support. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on adoption including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.



  • Bachelor's degree in business or information technology related field

  • 1+ years data analysis and reporting skills

  • Strong PowerPoint/Excel experience

  • Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clientsandindustries/sectorsyou serve

  • Limited Sponsorship - Limited immigration sponsorship may be available


  • Agile or PMP certification

  • Power BI and Microsoft Access ability to write formulas

  • Experience working within a professional services environment

  • Experience with large-scale programs
