Job Overview:

The Quality and Risk Management Operations Senior Specialist plays an important role in supporting QRM initiatives (similar that of a business analyst). The role focuses on tasks and efforts supporting the risk review application and associated business processes, learning initiatives, analyses, and supporting engagement teams, engagement leaders and QRM leadership.

Candidates should be self-motivated, possess the ability to think analytically and work independently, be collaborative and work well in a team environment. Working knowledge and comfort in using Microsoft Office tools is required, and familiarity with Tableau reports is a plus. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to articulate and present ideas, as well as an excellent professional rapport with internal clients at all levels in representing QRM priorities and objectives.

This full-time position during US hours, reports directly to the Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory QRM National Team, with direction and feedback provided by the QRM Network.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance risk review business processes; drafting written business requirements and troubleshoot risk review workflow issues

  • Organize and execute user acceptance testing of the risk review application; leveraging knowledge of business processes to develop and execute test scripts

  • Support deployment activities and communications related to process enhancements

  • Liaise with QRM Network and Support teams to identify, prioritize and recommend process enhancements

  • Work independently to create reports using Tableau and provide insights to QRM leadership, leveraging knowledge of data captured by the risk review application and data residing in other firm applications

  • Liaise with other firm application owners on special projects that support QRM processes and initiatives to identify issues, improvements or enhancements

  • Collaborate, confirm and organize efforts related to content available on internal QRM sites and resource pages and work independently to understand, confirm and propose content updates

  • Create content and organize training initiatives geared toward engagement teams and engagement leaders in the Advisory practice in support of QRM processes and tools

  • Organize and track efforts via executive level presentations related to QRM initiatives aligned with and supporting Advisory's strategic goals


  • Minimum 5 years related work experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Risk and Financial Advisory businesses, applications and enabling areas, a plus
