Work you'll do
The successful candidate will be a Solution Architect in the internal Cloud Managed Services organization of Deloitte Technology-US. A Solution Architect is responsible for facilitating the designs for application hosting solutions, and spearheading infrastructure and networking implementation efforts with architecture, DevOps, and application product teams.
Job Responsibilities / Primary Competencies:
Promotes use of IT infrastructure technologies based on business requirements
Defines systems/platforms architecture and integration strategies and recommends design solutions
Advises and consults on technologies costs, benefits, and implementation requirements
Strong understanding of the Microsoft Server platforms with emphasis on IIS technologies
Anticipates business hosting needs and researches technologies that would be appropriate to meet those business needs
Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple project deliverables on multiple projects effectively
Demonstrates a working ability to foster a cooperative environment with the entire project team. This resource is viewed as a "team player", who understands the culture and how to be effective in it
Seeks opportunities to implement standards, policies, and process improvements
Actively promotes teamwork and inclusion to ensure that all views are heard, and requirements are accounted for
Identifies the peer groups who should be participating to ensure consistency and success

The Technology and Infrastructure Organization works together to transform how DT-US deploys technologies and services to meet the dynamic needs of Deloitte professionals and help increase their productivity.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Systems or related and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology services with mix background understanding of computer networks as they relate to software and database design, development, and implementation: knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancing, Security Certificates and DMZ environments
Minimum 2 years of experience of cloud application hosting capabilities across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ITIL and SAFe preferred
Strong negotiation skills and ability to interact effectively with various levels of management and staff in both technical and business roles
Experience with Microsoft ADO, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare architecture blueprints and document requirements
Knowledge of cloud IT tools, automation, and service management platforms and functions
Exposure to multiple software hosting environments such as Linux and Windows Server
Cloud Service Provider certifications
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $191,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
