The Talent Business Advisor will be the key point of contact for the GPS Offering Portfolio Leaders. In conjunction with a team comprised of Lead Talent Business Advisor, OP Talent Team, Analyst and COE support, the TBA will provide a full talent lifecycle support for OP majored PPMDs and SM/SpL.
What You Will Do:
Talent Business Advisors ("TBA") focus on shaping the way Talent services are delivered to the Business by working in partnership with key business decision makers and establishing and maintaining a deep understanding of the business environment, strategy, and people implications. Our TBAs partner with leadership to address operational, talent, and talent lifecycle-related issues, including change management, organizational development, culture, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compensation planning, talent growth, inclusion, wellness, regulatory compliance, development, and coaching. TBAs proactively translate the practice business strategies into talent solutions that best enable the business to meet its strategic objectives.
The GPS Talent Business Advisor provides support to OP leadership in executing the various processes related to Deloitte PPMDs and SM including:
PPMD Nominations Processes
PPMD Performance management (Goal Setting, Talent Reviews, YE)
Own OP SM Talent Experience (Performance Management, Talent Review, YE, Talent Priorities)
PPMD & SM Compensation
Special Projects and POC for PPMD Talent
Work you'll do
Team with talent counterparts to deliver a consistent, efficient #1 talent experience to our PPMDs and SMs.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion
Compose and produce correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentation materials. Proofread these documents for accuracy
Develop content and materials for presentations
Manage the PPMD Elevate performance management system
Effectively correspond/communicate with OP Leadership
Liaise with GPS COEs (nominations, Performance Mgmt, Succession, L&D, direct admit) and counterparts in other functions and National Partner Matters
Facilitate meeting events
Uses data analytics and reporting to advise and guide senior leaders for effective and insightful decision-making. Distills complex information into key insights, clear recommendations, and action plans
Bachelor's degree required & at least 5 years of Talent experience at Deloitte
Strong executive presence skills
Solid analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Excellent computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and creative thinker who is willing to contribute ideas
Project Management Skills
Ability to own a stream of work
Experience with tracking and managing deadlines and dependencies
Extremely flexible and ability to handle tasks with urgency - able to constantly prioritize/reassess multifunctional position
Experience coordinating and following up with other teams
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
