Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Support an existing Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse and migration activities to Microsoft Azure
Identify, design, and implement system improvements including infrastructure changes to provide greater scalability, optimized data delivery, and automated processes
Develop testing strategies, design test and validation plans, and execute test cases associated with all system components

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
3+ years of Cloud Azure experience with implementations, migrations, and upgrades
Experience operating and maintaining an existing Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse using a variety of data integration technologies
Identify and triage defects, document findings, and perform resolution activities
Previous experience designing and assembling large, complex sets of data that meet functional and technical business requirements
Experience managing devops pipelines and executing deployments
Migrate on-premise SQL Server data stores to Microsoft Azure Synapse or Azure SQL, leveraging Azure Data Lake where necessary to support on-premise text-based source file storage
Migrate ETL components from Microsoft SSIS to Azure Data Factory (including Azure Data Bricks)
Travel up to 10% annually
