Work you’ll do
US Cyber Security Technology Engineering provides support for variety of security solutions utilized within the US Member Firm. We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our team as a technical resource providing support for our current security stack and recommending new tools to better protect Deloitte’s data. If you’re an experienced, hands-on Cyber professional with strong systems integration, SecOps support knowledge, and engineering skills who’s interested in continued growth in the cyber security field, this may be the job for you. As part of our Cyber Data Protection team, you will be assisting in designing, deploying and managing technology and process solutions to reduce the potential of data compromise. You will be assisting with testing of data protection and data security solutions. You will work to enhance and mature cyber security data protection capabilities for Deloitte US Member Firm.
As part of the US Data Protection team, you will have the following core responsibilities:
Assist in rolling out Data Classification and Rights Management service leveraging Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) to Deloitte US Employees, and provide on-going support. This includes deployment planning, oversee packaging/deployment/maintenance of the AIP software agent on Laptops/Desktops, pilot testing, provide end user support for AIP technical issues related to operating system, software, network, hardware and mobile device issues, provide support in integrating classification labeling and protection capabilities with Deloitte Applications, approve decryption requests and execute the decryption process, deployment challenges resolution, service onboarding and on-going support.
Assist in Key and Certificate Management service roll out, adoption and on-going support. This includes onboarding SSL certificates to a certificate lifecycle management technology (Venafi Trust Protection Platform), key management of database encryption key and digital code signing keys, certificate request reviews, technical implementation assistance, Digicert Portal enhancement etc.
Provide technical engineering and troubleshooting support to employees for Web Protection Service consisting of Cloud Web Proxy and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
Provide technical support to end users in troubleshooting issues related to CASB, Web Security, Data Classification and Rights Management, Encryption Key Management, SSL Certificates, Database Encryption, Digital Code Signing etc.
Assist with the development, deployment and support of Data Protection solutions
Technology review and advise during implementations – network device 802.1x certificate integrations, laptop configuration changes
Software review and recommendations upon request from other IT teams sending request for assistance

Cyber Security Data Protection Team
The Deloitte Cybersecurity Data Protection Team is responsible for securing and protecting confidential data of Deloitte US Member Firm. The primary mission of the team is to implement and enhance the Cybersecurity controls to protect data for its US Employees and the Clients they serve.
B.S in Computer Science from a recognized/accredited university
Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in the Information Security / Cybersecurity domain
Hands on experience working with several of the following data protection technologies:
Data Classification and Rights Management technology (e.g. Azure Information Protection and/or AD-RMS)
SSL Certificate Lifecycle Management technology (e.g. Venafi Trust Protection Platform)
Encryption Key Lifecycle Management technology (e.g. Thales Vormetric Platform)
Digital Code Signing technology
External Public Key Infrastructure and Certificate Authority (e.g. Digicert, Geotrust, Entrust etc.)
Database Encryption technologies
Web Protection Services (e.g. Symantec Web Security, ZScaler)
Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) (e.g. Netskope CASB, CloudSOC CASB)
Experience troubleshooting problems across the technology stack (Network, Software, OS, DB, endpoint and mobile)
Strong technical competence inside the technology stack (i.e. User interface, applications, communications, network and security infrastructure, database, storage etc.)
Experience implementing new software/tools, and security measures to protect systems, data, and information infrastructure.
Solid scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell experience preferred)
Experience implementing leading data security technologies
Comprehensive understanding in networking and application protocols and controls
Ability to provide support and resolve complex ticket requests in a production environment
Understanding of change management processes and their importance in the software development lifecycle
Adept at communicating with stakeholders and end users and managing their expectations around Data Protection requirements, and the importance of safeguarding Deloitte’s and Client sensitive information.
Self-motivated to lead and solve difficult challenges and ability to motivate others to higher levels of performance
Familiarity with common incident management/ticketing systems (i.e., ServiceNow etc.).
Strong desire and tendency to expand professional growth through consistent learning and keeping up to date on latest trends, new and emerging technology and cyber threats/vulnerabilities
Utilize data protection technology products to generate and maintain email, desktop, and network monitoring policies
Technical or security certifications are a plus (Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, CISSP, Security , etc.)
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Understanding of networking and core networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SMTP, TLS/SSH, 802.1x, and distributed networks)
Knowledge in different types of VPN, Encryption Standards, Certificates, CASB
Strong understanding of security controls for cloud environments (i.e. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and IaaS/PaaS services hardening.
Ability to write technical reports and communicate technical content to business users
Great troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
Experience with Data Protection Systems and Tools
Monitoring Compliance with Information Security Policies and Procedures
Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and grow with changing cloud technologies and a fast-paced business environment
Competency with Microsoft Windows and MacOS Operating Systems
Strong relationship, team building and facilitation skills
