Deloitte MuleSoft API Engineer in San Antonio, Texas

Work you'll do
Designing and developing APIs on an API Management platform (i.e., MuleSoft)
Maintaining APIs to include fixing bugs and enhancements
Producing documentation to support internal maintenance and external usage of APIs
Ensuring error handling and unit tests built into APIs with minimum code coverage met (90%, as defined by Enterprise Platforms Team)
Developing dashboards and monitoring API usage using MuleSoft and Splunk
Reporting on errors / failures and proactively identifying potential fixes and improvements
Deploy APIs between environments up to and potentially including production
Support administration of API Management platform

Qualifications
Required:
Active Mulesoft Certified Developer certification
Demonstrated experience showing in-depth understanding of the Open API v3 specification - both consumption and establishment of API's using a specification
Demonstrated experience managing APIs as a product offering
Demonstrated experience showing in-depth understanding of MuleSoft's 3-tiered experience-process-system layer API architecture
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Munit tests for MuleSoft APIs
Demonstrated experience connecting MuleSoft with Salesforce
Ability to travel 20-50% on average, based on the work you do and the client and industries/sectors you serve
