GPS Lead Contracts Administrator
Proactively provide support to the development, review, and negotiation of contracts, modifications, NDAs and TAs consistent with company policies.
Independently identify risk factors in prime solicitation, Contractor proposal, Representations and Certifications submitted, Cost and Price Analysis findings, and Contractor Statement of Work. Inform leadership of concerns and provides recommendations on risk mitigating strategies.
Assist in the development of negotiation strategies. Implement purchasing, strategic sourcing, and subcontract strategies.
Responsible for compliance and accuracy of the contract s administration within assigned portfolio.
Act as an advisor to business leaders on procurement matters in assigned portfolio and is in-tune with strategy and account objectives and priorities.
Ensure the timely reporting of contract data entry into various systems and monitor data updates. Resolve discrepancies related to subcontract documents and ensures data quality and accuracy.
Collaborate with other enabling areas to address procedural and complex contracts administration and proposal challenges.
Review, recommend, and manage the preparation of various types of contracts.
Review procurement file documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
Develop and implement process improvement strategies and provides training to account team as well as other GPSC professionals.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with teams
Treasury experience and/or NASA experience
Demonstrated Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong consultative and communication skills
Deep knowledge of Federal Contracting regulations
Ability to operate in a demanding executive level environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
All candidates must be willing and able tp travel as needed for their clients, however, depending on staffing needs, post positions are in-office-based with limited travel required. Ability to travel up to 25%. While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
Education and Experience
3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
Command knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to influence teams
Bachelor s Degree
Experience supporting the Federal client aligned with the team of assignment (USAID, USAF, USMC, Department of State to be tailored)
Demonstrated desire for continuous professional growth
